In this blog post, I will explain the Metaverse, which is currently being talked about a lot among Gen Z and Gen Alpha, in an easy-to-understand way.
What is the Metaverse made of?
Metaverse is a combination of the words Meta and Universe, and is a decentralized technology. It can also be used as a Computer Generated Environment.
Computer Generated Environment refers to the environment in which people interact with computers and related devices.
Why is the Metaverse important?
The reason why we should study the Metaverse is because consumer behavior could change a lot in the future.
Consumer Behavior, for example, is a comparison to the banking sector, where the banking system began hundreds of years ago, and now banking solutions have changed every five years.
Banking users are also creating new experiences.
About 15 or 20 years ago, many people in Myanmar didn't even want to open a bank account when it came to using a bank.
Later, many people started using banking. From traditional banking, online banking emerged. The user experience also changed.
Another thing is that digital money like Wave-Pay and K-Pay are also being used through applications and platforms.
This is the experience currently being used in Myanmar. The standards used internationally are based on the knowledge of the users, and the systemization of the system because they are living abroad. When these are implemented, many countries abroad also become modern.
Businesses are expanding based on consumer demand and new technologies. Similarly, in the future, consumer behavior could drive the Metaverse.
For example, food delivery services now require you to register in the application if you want to eat something. It has become more widespread everywhere, and it has become more widespread during Covid-19.
Transportation businesses can also be called from applications without having to manually complete the process like before. For example, Uber, Grab, Bolt. In conclusion, Metaverse is Virtual Reality. The main thing is to expand and create Virtual Reality.
